She was at that time the first Perini Navi designed by Philippe Briand. The hull is constructed in Sealium, an aluminium alloy which provides greater mechanical strength and improved corrosion characteristics, while reducing weight. In racing trim, S/Y P2 displaces approximately 138 tonnes.
